We have had much success with using polystyrene and tile groat for our terrestrials, but I was thinking about using it for an aquatic turtle tank! I'm not finding much about the pros and cons of this type of set up. Will it break down in the water if I use the proper sealant? Will it harm the animals? I read that some people use fiberglass resin. What is this used for?
