I've never had a (major) problem with them. The worst that happened was I sent in my renewal form last year, they cashed my check, and I never got anything. :} I emailed them, and got a response within a day - turned out they hadn't updated my address after I moved so my permit was sent to my old apartment. They fixed my address and sent me a new permit within a week. Not bad.

Nah, no probs. As long as you have a permit you're ok. It's a $10 insurance policy.
