I am not sure of all the reasons that a dragon would regurgitate, but probably one of the most common would be due to overeating. How big is the dragon and how much are you feeding it?

Parasites, improper basking temps, yes overeating and any combination of these 3

Well last night when I turned my dragons lights off he regurgitated alot of corn( completely undigested ) and now today he won't eat.It was really sudden and just the day before he was eating fine.Today he is basking and everything but won't eat.Made me think he might have the adenovirus. Can uro's catch this?I am gonna take him to a vet tomorrow.

thanks

Corn is very hard to digest and should only be given in moderation. He may need to rest his tummy. there are 2 stages of regurgitation. 1) where the food is regurgitated without being digested and 2) when it is partially digested, the latter being more serious. anytime a reptile regurgitates or vomits, they need to replace gut flora used in digestion and it is best to wait a bit before feeding them. It is also a good idea to give them a probiotic to replace lost gut flora and help digestion.

OK I must've given too much cause I saw that he liked it and he hasn't had any treats so I gave him some extra.Do you think by tomorrow he will be eating?

Where do I get this probiotic?

thanks for your help really appreciate it

probiotics are sold in some pet stores and on the net. I use acidophiliz from pet authority. some folks also use beni-bac (I doubt thats spelled right). there was a post on this topic not to long ago. try doing a search here. hit reply, then the search button then type in probiotic.
