should i repot and change the soil on the new plants?

I am not sure on the plants being safe or not, but I would suggest searching this forum with the words plant chameleon. The safe plant links and lists have been posted numerous times, just gotta look them up again. Or ask Lele she knows them all I believe.

I would repot your plants with clean potted soil with no fertilizers or the little styrofoam balls in it. That way if the chemeleons try to ingest the soil they wont get any chemicals or blockages in their systems.

Just me 2 cents! Hope it helped a bit
