Should I use water based polyurethane or oil based polyurethane for the plywood im using to make my cage? what would work better or what do you people have better results with?

Should I use water based polyurethane or oil based polyurethane for the plywood im using to make my cage? what would work better or what do you people have better results with?
I personally do not use a polyurathane sealer. What I have found to work the best (for me anyway) is I paint the inside of the cage with white concrete sealer. This is the paint that they use to seal garage floors. It is really thick and seals everything very well. Just another option for you. Todd
