mealworms

how do you breed mealworms? can you just keep them in the stuff
they come in?

to answer your first question if u want to breed mealworms u have to allow the mealworms to pupate and the turn into darkling beetels. Darkling beetels can be kept in similar set ups to meal worms except they need more space. If u can get this done it will pay of because darklings lay about 500 tiny eggs. To answer your second question i keep my mealies in bran but im not sure what the mealies you get come in but i would say proboly.
