I have a 70 gallon aquarium with one green tree frog and two firebelly toads. I would like to add a few more animals, but I don't know if any other kinds of animals would be appropriate. I have read that firebelly toad's secretions can be fatal or harmful to other amphibians, but these three have lived together for more than a year with no problems at all. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to put in the tank? I would love to put some kind of reptile in the tank, but have not found a snake or lizard that would not eat the frogs and needs the same temp/humidity requirements (80 degrees basking, 75 degrees ambient temp, with 70-80 % humidity). Thank you, Robin

we are only out for the best intrests of you and you animals! maybe you could start off a breeding colony in the 70 gallon! that would be just as intresting as a community tank (minus the unhappy animals!)you can post in the toad forum to get some more info on a colony of FBT's. Best of luck with whatever you do, but please think of the well being of your animals, and dont listen to what "that guy at the pet store" tells you, they are only trying to sell you their product, thats what they are paid to do!
