A Beautiful Thing.....

byron.d Jul 13, 2004 12:50 AM

Came home today to find nine big perfect eggs from my Sonoran x bull intergrade. I just purchased the pair a couple of months ago from a collector who nabbed them in Pecos county TX. I put some weight on the female and introduced the male, and here we are..
She shed thirteen days ago, and dropped sometime today.
This is my first ever clutch of Pit. eggs.

I know you've been waiting for her to drop eggs for awhile now. It's still exciting to look in the nestbox and see a nice clutch of eggs. So did you determine the adults are sonoran X bullsnake integrades. Still look bullsnake to me. I'll keep my fingers crossed for them to hatch now. The next best thing to this hobby is seeing the eggs pip.

yeah she had me stressing alright. now i get to worry about them hatching.
i sent a bunch of photos to a friend that has a group of Sonoran x bull intergrades from Texas including a few from Brewster county. he sort of sold me on them being intergrades, but i really dont know for sure. i really dig them, but i dont want to mis represent them either..
thanks again Terry.

I was given bull snake about a week ago and just yesterday she laid 7 eggs I need help with whatever info I can get to insure the eggs are incubated properly. At this time the snake seems to be taking care of them by caressing them. I just want to make sure the temp. and humidity are ok in the aquarium, just to let you know I keep the sake outside on the west side back porch the tank is 3/4 shade and 1/4 direct sunlight avrage temp outside is 85-95 in the shade.
