two girls?

bonniejoe Jul 13, 2004 08:56 AM

i have a feeling i know the answer already
i curently have a female between 3 1/2 and 4 feet long
i know of someone(my other post) trying to find a home for a 3 1/2 foot female.
most problems i have heard are from two males together
since they are close in size can they share a cage?
cage is 8 feet long 7 feet high and 3 feet deep.
what are the odds of them getting along?
i think i already know just want to know what everyone thinks.
i live in a small apartment and have no room for another cage.
(that one takes up more than half on the living room and then there are three more cages in there.)
my living room looks like a pet store.
the iguanna(s) would still have the run of the place when my daughter is in school.

Well it all depends on the iguanas of course...While I dont suggest it, I have 3 females that reside together...they were not raised together and range in age 4 yrs, 8 yrs and 10 yrs old...the 8 yr old is the smallest and queen of the coop so to speak...she has her moments where she will charge atthe others but doesnt bite them...but I have had others that attack at will and couldnt be put in with them...so like I said it depends on the ig....good luck with your decision...Lyn
