Our eggs are very happy in their vermiculite mixture and doing well but as the time goes by on their way to being hatched will the eggs become larger or stay pretty much the same size as when they were laid??

They usually swell a bit, but the size change is not dramatic. I've noticed that mine also take on a very slight gray tint as the hatch date approaches.
