NEW?? OCELOT BALL PYTHON

damisn Jul 13, 2004 11:34 AM

We bred this wild beauty to a normal and produced some strange offsprings, unfortunately we had a small clutch of three eggs. We are leaning more toward the possibility of dominant, since all three were different in pattern and color. There is a pic here of the father and one of the babies, the third one did not live, but the other two females are doing great. We chose the name Ocelot, since the father resembles the pattern and coloration of an Ocelot, his belly is pure white and his eyes are green. The ocelot baby pictured here has the pure white belly, but they all have green eyes and a lighter spot on the head. Since both are females we are going to breed them back to the father, we'll keep you posted!!

Nice, that animal has the look of a classic Jungle, except that it is lacking the black pigment around the mouth. I have been working with one that is very similiar to this animal , I also have produced some weird babies from him over the years, I call mine a Berkley. Good luck with that!
