Went to the vet to see what was wrong with my little hog because he hasn't ate anything but a minnow since I've had him about 3 months, although he never lost any weight so I didn't worry too much since they're known to be problem feeders. Everything came back NEGATIVE. Altough that still doesn't explain why he's not eating. Any suggestions? I've tried every method I could think of as well as any methods discussed on this and other forums.

There is no problem... it's a hognose!!!!!
Check out some of the comments by JMolden, he has me convinced that hognoses will only eat when they actually want to. There is no convincing them otherwise. If the animal is not losing weight and becoming emaciated, I would not be concerned.

Yeah I haven't been extremely worried because he hasn't lost any weight and I know hogs are known for fasting. I just said to myself that I would take him to the vet just in case. You could never be too careful. Thanks for the reply and wish me luck in the future.

What kind? Did you try toads? Or toad scenting?

He's a Western 100%het for albino about 8 months old I would say. I have not tried toads but I did try scenting the pinks with just about everything I could think of and everything discussed on this forum. I even bought the lizard maker from T-Rex and no luck. I offer him a meal at the same time I offer the other two hogs that I have about every 7-12 days.
