it's a hatchling so wouldn't have spots yet any way. But has anybody ever seen that much carrot tail in a new born. in my experienc it shows up with maturity but maybe that's just MY experience.

I bought some from Kim Bell that she was selling as Tangerine Leucistics and they had orange on the snout and more orange than the one pictured on the tail, they also had an orange hue on the body as well. I got them from her at 1 week old. So yes I have personally seen some with more.

I hatched one that looked almost exactly like "dis thang".
Mine is a month and a half with definate carrot tail now.

What is the difference between patternless and leucistic?

whitiespets Jul 21, 2004 02:52 AM

as far as i know patternless is no black spots, leucistic would then be a sub category in a sense?
