i heard pouring oil on mosquito breeding grounds would kill the insects, so i tried it. it worked, but a poor little bird got caught in it and died i feel horrible! if only i was there a few hours ago i could have prevented it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One must look past the mosquito & see the bigger picture. Oil habitat = bad news.

They have made this awesome stuff called bug spray. A good one is Off Skintastic. lol

Sorry, just too easy. I guess you learned the hard way.

there are now microbes that eat mosquito larve when spayed into standing water. they live off the larve so when the water dries up or the larve is gone the microbes die too.
