Upper Keys or OkeeTees

Sasheena Jun 21, 2003 12:00 PM

Hey, I've had promised to me a couple of Upper Keys or a couple of Okeetees once they hatch. I was wondering if anyone has pictures of the Upper Keys especially, and a comparison picture with both kinds in the same picture would be awesome. I've seen a zillion pictures of okeetees, from truly SPECTACULAR specimens to just a little bit above the ordinary. I've only seen a couple of upper keys photos, and I'm not sure which snake I should get. (or perhaps I should get one of each)?

Current Corns (all '02s):

1.0 Normal Striped
0.1 Anery Striped
0.1 Normal Het for Motley Miami (Love Line)

Up and Coming Corns (possibly)

0.0.2 Snow Corns het for charcoal & hypo
0.0.2 Anery Corns het for charcoal, hypo, & amel

And TWO corns, with the choices being:

Plain Old Upper Keys
Plain Old Okeetees

It all depends on what you like, and what variation of Keys corn you are getting. I am no expert but from what I have seen thier are at least two types of keys corns, one with a golden background and one with a silver background. I really like the ones with the silver background. These picks are not full Upper Keys, but I created them using Upper Keys blood. I think Don at South Mountain might have some Keys corns in his photo gallery, and I know you can find a pic at Serpen Co.com.

This Keys Corn is from the Big Pine Islands, which is more of the silver phase.
