Okay I have I think 14 Panther chameleons and one Veiled right now, give or take a few.
Anyway my favorite one "Squishy" always seemed real nice personality wise. Well now he is too nice. He does everything in his power to try to climb up on me. This is regardless of where he is, whether it's at the top of his 8 foot ficus, the bottom of his ficus, in a cage, or outside on his 6 foot weeping jade crabapple tree. Also he almost falls sometimes reaching for me. He will actually climb down and try to get to me if he's higher than me. Also once on me, he will not let go and is a real pain to try to get off. He doesn't "run" or anything while on me, he just sit's there and looks at me and then just looks around. He also won't try to get higher than my shoulder.
I know juveniles do this to try to get higher sometimes, but they also seem skiddish at the same time. "Squishy" though is around a year old, and REAL aggresive towards any other male panthers (will try to attack, just not fire up), and acts anything but skiddish.
It's to the point that I try to avoid getting near him at all except to water him and feed him or take him outside. Doing that though has only seemed to make him try even harder sometimes to get to me when I am around.
Any ideas?? Anyone else expereinced this or heard of it?? It's like he's a puppy trying to get me.

) so its much easier for me to do so then for you. But it seems they like the attention from there keepers. I even saw it twice at a petstore, a jacksoni and a veiled with the same behavior. I like this, its better then an animal that sits all day long in its cage and doesnt move at all.
