Leopard Gecko 10 Gallon Tank Heating Question

Would a 6x8inch(10-20gallon) ZooMed under tank heater be large enough for a ten gallon tank? Or would the 8x12inch(30-40gallon) one be better. I cut out the sizes of each one out of paper and put them in the tank and the larger one took up about half of the cage and the smaller one took up less than a third. Which one should i use?

im not sure of the uth size so ill tell u this the heatpad sould cover around 1/3 of the cage floor.
