any ideas ?

This boa was a rescue. I got a call from a friend telling me he knew someone that had an 8ft. female redtail he was going to turn it loose at the landfill. So I made the 3 hr. drive to get it and this is what I got. It's a male about 4ft. and black and gray. Any ideas on what type of boa he really is?

Possibly anery, but they tend to be dark anyway. The pic is not very good, so hard for me to be certain...perhaps others will lend their opinions..

I was going to reply to your other post and say this is clearly a central american boa... that is why you got so much color out of the babies.. but when I saw how clean, and detailed (colombian-like) the babies tail was, I was second guessing myself.
Could be a real old, ugly common colombian.

still did a great job for you!
