correct that. There is enough bad info out there as it is, nonetheless calling a ball python a boa. LOL!

Hugs!

That was hilarious! Wow, they had to call the cops in order to get the snake into a pillowcase!

god I want to reply so bad but I have to wait for my password which is taking forever..lol

Pulcinella should not be working with animals...lol if that person was interviewed & couldn't tell it was a ball not a boa how did that person become a "Knowledgable Reference"?? I would trust a 5 year olds opinion ove that dude..lol

I sent the writer an email, and this was her response:

Thanks for your note. And, yes, I have gotten a few emails. Going from the
identification I had, since I'm not a snake expert myself, I included info on
boa constrictors. I've since done some online research and found that ball
phythons are known as escape artists but are also gentle and relatively easy to
car for. How do you think this snake got into that guy's apartment?

I am just glad they captured and used safe probes to get it into the pillow case before it grew 13 ft and killed everyone in their sleep. Another tragedy prevented with proper training. I thank the police for being so brave lol...good thing they didnt encounter this girl.

I also wrote to the author. Her response to me was also very polite. The snake was misidentified by the local animal shelter and the police. She didn't actually see the snake until the picture was put on the internet. Too bad they don't have good fact checkers though.

i did reply to the comment section of that article. even my mother who is pretty scared of snakes had to laugh when i sent her the article. if you are part of a news paper you should really do your research before you write your article. otherwise you just look like a jacka**, which that writer does now.

i deffiently agree that this needs to be fixed soon because otherwise it will just ad to the general public's fear of snakes.

that's just my 2cents

i just read reddevils reply about what that writer wrote back. it's sad that they weren't given information that was correct. i retract my jacka** statement, yet still feel a bit p.o.ed about what was writen and the format that it was writen in.
