need help trying to sex crested

umop_apisdn Jul 14, 2004 04:52 PM

ok. i got this one at the beginning of the year, at which point it was about a month or two old, id say. that makes him about 8 or 9 months old now. shouldnt it be showing signs by now of a hemipene? i am dying for a nice female, so it would be killer if this one turned out as one. i tried looking for pores, but i have never had them pointed out to me before so i dont know exactly where to look for them, except somewhere around the vent. can this picture help anyone help me determine what sex this one will be? its only got the slightest bulge, so little i hesitate using the word 'bulge', more like a slight fattening at the base of the tail. please tell me its a girl. this will be the 4th baby i bought that turned up male if thats the case....

If that Cresty is 8-9 months old it appears to be female.
