What kind of carpet python do I have?

NatashaG Jul 14, 2004 05:56 PM

I got this carpet one month ago. But I don't know what kind she is. She is 8 months old and is a little under 4 feet.

Just under 4ft...Well, the deal with carpets is most of them have unknown or mixed origins outside of Aus. She looks to me like she's more than likely a cross. Her coloring is more like the coastals. So if you want to label her, I'd call her a coastal type cross carpet.

I would be interested in seeing a couple more pictures, maybe one with the entire snake in the picture. She looks very much like three 50% diamond/jungle crosses that I used to have. But as Darci said, carpets have been produced to sell quickly with whatever male/female combination that was available, so mutts abound.
