My Redfoots eyes look teary.......Whats wrong?

My redfoots eyes are teary....i just got him....what should I do or whats wrong?

Increase the humidity. Normally when the humidity is to low, their eyes will water.

Try soaking and then keep the relative humidity up and provide clean drinking water.
BUT.....don't keep soaking wet either.

I forgot to mention how to increase humidity. LOL Soaking him is a good idea like the other person mentioned.

You can also get a warm mist humidifier and keep in or next to his cage. That is what I have for mine and I have yet to have a humidity problem.

If your enclosure is big enough, you can also get something like a small plastic trash can. Lay it on it;s side and put moist moss in the bottom. This would suffice as a hide a box and a humidy box at the same time.
