Sick(?) Pacman Frog....

jellis1323 Jul 14, 2004 07:29 PM

My pacman frog is acting relly weird. He seems to only be able to move one side of his body and sometimes he stretches out and his eyes completely close... it seriously looks like he's dead. I don't touch him when he does that, simply pour some room temperature/luke warm water mxture over him.Upon this happening he goes back into a semi-normal position... any help or ideas on what is going on would be greatly appreciated. If more info is needed please say so.

Oh, and his aquarium does have a heatin pad on one side, so he is able to be at a warm temperature.

Is this after eating? Both of the Pac-Mans I've had would shot their eyes after swallowing crickets for about 1-3 seconds.

I don't really know why, but I think I've heard it has something with them using alot of muscle power when they swallow, and the eyes have something to do with it. (Don't know if that helped much)
As an advice for the sick frog, all I can say take it to a vet.
