where do you all go to find branches for your awds. and how do you clean? I know where to find them, but which ones to use?

I get mine from the woods. I try to use mainly branches straight off living trees as they carry far less bacteria and fungas. I take 'em home and soak them in the tub with a bleach solution. Then, I take them to the car wash and spray the hell out of them with the power washer. This activity really highlights the herper from the non-herper. I get alot of funny looks when I park my car outside the car wash and start washing tree branches. . .they just don't get it.

i go down to the creek and chop one off!
hehe i dont like straight branchs, i find them boring. i use peppercorn ( i think thats the one,, it has green leaves hehe)
then i strip all the bark of them and soak it in my pool ( salt water pool) for a few days, then let it dry.

only problem is that they crack! and i cant stop them from doing it.
