Need help asap

I aquired a sub adult ball python (around 500 grams) about 4 months ago...she has since developed some scale rot on her stomach. The temps were good, cage was clean...she came from a good breeder and it just popped up about a week ago. My questions are how do I treat it (I am using polysporn right now) she is in a new cage freshly cleaned with newspaper. Is it going to effect her in the long run? Is it contagious and is there anything else that I can do to treat it...I don't have any vets here that I trust with my herps. Any help would be awsome.

Do you mist her cage? Too wet will cause problems too. What was her substrate? Build a humid hide for a high humidity spot and don't mist the cage. If you have one already I would change the moss out for new. Obviously something is off or she wouldn't have gotten it. Depending on how bad it is I would treat myself with a dilute betadine soak and neosporin cream (not ointment). If it is a lot of area on her she should see a vet as it can go systemic and even kill her.
