Note The worms in the skin

mrcham Jul 15, 2004 03:19 PM

i beleive it is Foleyella furcata worms the soonest appointment i got is monday at 2:00 pm

scott202 Jul 16, 2004 01:07 AM

I read a book and It said the worm will have to be cut out and if you're lucky it stayed just under the skin. If It went in side it will not make it. good luck....Scott...

i was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with these parasites? if so what did the vet do? did it work?
any info would be appreciated
i have heard one person say not to let the vet prescribe
invermectin? as it harms the chams
i dont know myself

i could be wrong but dont quote me but. I think one time someone had this problem with an ambanja and the vet had to cut under the skin to get them out... but i could be wrong here. hope this isnt the case with yours

That's not a very nice thing to say. Ocala is not so "crappy"...I know tons of people that love it here. Wow, you are going from one extreme to the other...FL sunshine and horse country to big city and rainy gloomy days. One man's trash is another man's treasure.
