Well as if I did not already have my hands full of eggs already, the second group started to arrive today LOL. My to biggest females are right now laying their "double clutch" and the darn things look as big as the first clutch. I have one more week before the eggs start to pip and then I am going to have baby corns in every nook and cranny of my house LOL. I did a moss change on the eggs last week and out of the 143 I had from the first group, only five have died during this time, so I am going to be going crazy feeding baby corns for a while LOL
Thanks

I had my hands full with 32 hatchlings and 23 "other" snakes.
I would be going crazy if that number was tripled.
I think I would have to quit my "real" job and somehow convince my wife to support me....and the snakes.....YEAH RIGHT...lol
good luck
by the way...I prefer butter omlets got any butter eggs cooking?

Just box a couple dozen up and send them my way! lol

And I thought it was rough just tending to my 12 baby boas plus the rest of my collection (41 total). My other half would have kicked me out if there were 143 hatching corns and more on the way! lol

An Emu and Snake egg omelete. How would you like yours? Over easy please! Or just scramble them and make me a Bacon, mushroom, tomato and swiss cheese omelete.

I almost got a few Emus once, there is a fella down here that raises them. At the time (15 years ago) he was selling hatchlings for $25.00 each and I thought of getting a couple until he described them as "A retarded Ostriach" (excuse the spelling please. He explained to me that an Emu would get spooked and run right into a fence line and break it's own neck? I find it hard to beleive that they are that dumb. Are they or was this guy just busting my stones on this? I always thought they would be cool to have and I would not have to mow my grass anymore too!
