My gray-band has bunkered into his hide for a over a week. At first I think he was going to shed but that hasn't happened yet and I am getting a little worried. He isn't dead, just not active in the evenings like he has been in the past. Could it be hibernation or illness? Maybe he is just taking longer to shed than in the past? Any advice will be helpful.

Not sure what else to do, I decided to offer him a pinky. I removed his hide and dropped the food in and he went right after it. Since it seems like I have been underfeeding my animals, I gave him another which he promptly ate as well. So I was feeling better because he was eating and moving around now. Then he started shedding, so it looks like everything is ok. He is going to be getting a bigger diet in the future.
