After reading the posts below re: brooksi/floridian.....

I have a couple questions too. Does the Floridian (dark) get as large as the Brooksi? As large as the Eastern? I have a pair of the "cheap" Floridian's and I really love them. I also have Brooksi's and I love them too. I paid a lot more for the Brooksi than the Floridian's, however.

I think the Floridana and Brooksi reach about the same size, since they are basically the same animal. They can reach a good size, but the Eastern probably gets a little bigger. It's pretty standard to pay a little more for the "Brooksi" than a standard Floridana, since the lighter coloring makes them more attractive to most people. I also just want to say how great it is to have a venue like this, where we can all share our knowledge and passion for the hobby with others. For all the problems it can cause, the internet can also be a great thing.

As far as I know, they all can obtain similar size as adults. Easterns, I believe, are the "king of kings," being largest by a small margin as far as documented record length (over 6 feet) . But I've seen pics of some impressively-large Brooksis on this forum in the past, suggesting they can attain similar size as adult Easterns. I see no reason why an intergrade of the two would not have potential to reach a comparable size and length.
