Just recently I've tried using the cricket feeding cup method to feed my cham and he doesn't seem to know the crickets are in the cup. Does anyone have any useful tips I could use? Thanks.

I use clear 1 quart deli cups from the grocery store. The food is visible and the cups are high enough that the crickets cannot jump out.
To hang the cup either drills two holes in the top about one inch apart. Or hold a large nail with pliers over a stove flame and melt two holes one inch apart at the top. Then just use a twisty tie or whatever else works to hang the cup.
Some Chameleon's are not very smart and will try to grab the insects thru the plastic, so hang it as low as possible if this is the case with your cham. Other wise just hang it where ever.
i set my feeder cup below my cham
when he gets hungry he'll see the movement in the cup
i also use a white deli cup instead of clear
Also try using more than one cup to get him started. Place one at his favorite basking area, and one more at the other end. Use two until you see him consistently eating at his favorite cup.

Even tho' Luna knows where her cup is, some days she just never goes over there. But if I hold the cup in my hand just under her she'll shoot as if I haven't fed her for days! LOL! So try holding the cup after he shoots one then slowly move the cup to its resting/hanging spot so he can see you do this. Try to make it so he sees the movemnet of the crix in the cup as you do this and hopefully he'll make the connection. i think some chams jsut aren't cup users but if yours is young enough he should be able to make the connection.
I, too recommend an opaque cup - unless it is on the ground. Watching your cham try and shoot thru plastic and getting its tongue stuck for a second is not funny
