Anywhere out east, if your looking to phot herps, out toward Manorville/wading river and east end. i have found lots n. black racers, e. milksnakes, smooth green snakes,e. hognoses(even though the experts(?) think that the Brookhaven lab is the only place that they exist on the island anymore),spadefoot, toads, spotted turtles, spotted slamanders,etc. you should the long island herp society(LIHS.org) dj
