it has not been eating for at least 3 days, but it has been in a cold room with no light b/c the light is not at that house yet. does any one have any suggestions. o and it is only about an inch long

How long have you had the frog? My frog (Who was a bit larger that your when I got him/her) didn't eat for about one and a half week.
And also, you say he is in a cold room, how cold is it?

i have had it for about a month but i had just been move around to a friends house for a week b/c i went away and now its back in my house and the room is maybe 70 to 80 degrees.

The temprature seems good.
You moved him to a friends house, does that mean you also moved him to another tank? If so, MAYBE he just needs time to adjust.
Does he act normal?
