My russian has a resp infection so I promptly took her to the vet, none of my other tortoises are showing signs and the one who is sick still eats like a pig. The oddist thing happened while I was at the vet. They were backed up so I had to wait about an hour. The entire time I was there, there were no bubbles coming out of her nose. When I got home i thought about it a little more... there was air conditiong at the vets so there was very little humidity. I do not have AC and live in NW PA where it is quite humid. COuld her sickness be from humidity? If it is how do I fix the problem? By the way, the basking area is about 110 f and if I have the fans on at night I use a ceramic heat emitter. Any help would be appreciated. She is also on antibiotics for the time being.
