What snakes could I find in thailand?

Stevens Jul 16, 2004 12:14 AM

Hello, I am going to Thailand in Nov. possibly Jan. of next year also. I now there are cobras, kraits, pythons, monitors, geckoes galore, and agmas but I love some of the asian ratsnakes and was wondering what I may be able to find there. I am going for missionary reasons but as a reptile lover this is a wonderful plus. I will be staying 2 hours south of Bangkok along the main peninsula close to the coast. I also hope to see their local water monitor that has almost become a local pet. Anyways if you know of the species I may be able to find there or a book that could help me identify them it would greatly help.
