I am going to change my leo's enclosure to tile, probably with a little sand sprinkled on top (and get rid of the repti-bark). Should the tile be fastened down or just set inside (20 gallon long). Should anything else be used (caulk, etc.)? Thanks.

I just changed to tile last week. Got some half off tile at Lowes for 71 cents each (square foot). The stuff is heavy so no need to glue down. I like this better than the carpet because the mealworms can't get under it, so much easier to pick them up and place them back in the dish. Also I got a nice biege color that matches the fake rock that I made. 5 squares was also enough to cover the bottom of two 20 gallon longs.
Matt
Darn, I just bought some tiles but not enough. How do you cut tile in half? Or will a Home Depot do it for you?
Mayo - do you have pictures of your enclosure? Or instructions on how you made your rock?
Thanks
