Hello everyone!
I have had my mali for about 5 years, and he is around 6 years old. In the past I never had any desire to breed him but after seeing all of the adorable baby pictures, and gaining more knowledge about Uros, I am beginning to think he really might have something to add to the mali gene pool. Has anyone noticed personality changes in their pets once they become "active"? I ask because with horses some stallions undergo some unpleasant personality changes once they begin breeding, even if they have been sexually mature for quite some time. It is not really worth it to me to lose my beloved pets well known, and super friendly, personality! 
Also, how successful would introducing this life change be this late in his life? I thought he might be a confirmed bachelor at this point.
I am just musing, definitely not sure I want to get into that part of herp keeping, but I do find the husbandry fascinating.
