I never got into using them but my buddy always stood by using stuff like that for his ball python.. i don't remember what brand he used but I know he would usually grab whatever they had at the pet store. those reptile sprays for their skin & mineral oil...I do have to say his ball had a very nice coat that did seem to always look it's best. but i don't see it being a requirement but if you want to my friend would if it was spray ..spray the snake & just play with him for like 15 minutes & keep kinda rubbing it in..if it was an oil he would slop some on his hands & again play with it & rub it in some. Well if you decide to use it let me know if you feel it's a great improvement on your snakes skin.

I use a product called Vita-Spray with my Ball, he was having bad sheds despite a clean bill of health and good environmental conditions, so the vet reccomended it, and ever since he has been having perfect sheds and looks fantastic.

i have been having the same shed problems with my little girl. she is completely healthy and even has a humid hide box, yet she still sheds in chunks. where do you get this vita-spray?? i think i would like to try it to see if it helps her out.

thanks!
