Well, I decided to take some pics the other day, in the tank with Giant is an adult melanistic eastern garter snake. The pics do not do the ringneck justice, it is 20 inches long, although in the pic it may not seem like that.

Another pic, lol when this was happening I thought Giant was gonna go over and start eating the mel. garter. She didn't though.

it is much lighter than most isn't it? Or i that just from the pic? Did it lay eggs? What all has it eaten?

Justin buddy, if you would've read all the posts you would see Giant did lay eggs. She has eaten pinkie mice since I got her 2 months ago. She is pretty light, but then again, most of the larger ones I've had do tend to turn gray when they hit the 20 inch mark.

Giant laid 5 eggs total, she laid 3 in one night three weeks ago, but retained the other 2 for unknown reasons. About a week ago, I got pretty worried that she wasn't laying the last two, so I attempted to get the closest egg out myself. By pushing it down with my thumb towards the vent, it moved, but only to go back up when I moved my thumb. I assume that egg was stuck in place, as on the night that I tried to get it out she laid it. That egg didn't look like it was gonna make it, it never turned hard, on the 3rd day after it was laid it was still flexible. The last egg came out on Sunday or Monday, it looks good, it was still sticky when I got to it. Oh yeah, and on the first night she started laying, I did not know of one of her other eggs, therefore it ended up smashed. Here is a pic of Giant's 3 eggs.

Oh, i have read all the posts, but i can't remember them all. I will get some pics of my babies when the batteries charge. Have you been scenting the pinkys with lizards or snakes or unscented?

Nightcrawlers, Giant doesn't seem too interested in snakes as prey.

The snake just laid 5 eggs, I'm gonna try and get it back up to it's normal girth though.
