A ? about my amel hatchlings.....

Spardawolf Jul 16, 2004 01:21 PM

Okay, the male was a normal het amel, and the female was a sunglow motley. Are these just amel het motley babies or could they be sunglow het motely? (I know that technically a sunglow is an amel, but I was wondering if these were going to look like a sunglow eventually with little white or not) I don't think I have ever really seen a sunglow baby that wasn't motley.
The amels I have had in the past have more white and reds. These are very orange. (though a light orange right now) Any help would be appreicated.
Thanks

Hey friend...congrats on your breeding success

It doesn't look like it'll be Sunglow, but I may be wrong. I'm not that familiar with Sunglows, but in other Amel. types, those clear areas between the saddles and the background color turn white.
