One of my 2002 normal girls with a nice story behind her. She is such a sweetheart.

This little girl came to me as a live mouse feeder in 2002.

But she refused to eat anything after trying every trick in the book. I finally started ASSIST feeding her.

It would work like magic, and she actually started to know the routine. She would barely struggle as I placed the freshly killed mouse in her mouth, then she would constrict and swallow it.

This went on for aprox 10 - 11 months before her first fast.

After her first fast she started pounding the food on her own, and has been doing so ever since. I know this snake would not have made it without my help.

Today she is a nice beefy 1300-1400 grams and continues to eat like a little monster.

This was the best PIC I could get of her because SHE would not stay still.

Ball pythons are such beautiful snakes regardless of morph, yours is certainly not an exception. Congrats on your patience!
