What could it be????

Our blizzard corn ate his first rat fuzzy on Tuesday nite...had no problem at all!!! Now here is my confusion... when hubby came home this afternoon, there was a yucky smell and he checked the enclosure and it looked like the snake had thrown up the whole thing. Is this possible 2 days after eating it? Or could it be something else? His disposition is still the same (grumpy as always! )and seems fine otherwise. Any suggestions? Also, is there anything that can be done to prevent something similar from happening again? Thanks much!

Sounds like a typical regurgitation.

Wait 10-14 days to feed him again and when you do, feed a prey item about half the size as usual. Make sure the snake is at the correct temps and isn't stressed (AKA no handling).

By the way, I've unfortunatley had 2 of my current snakes regurgitate their food in the past and with the one, the mouse was several days old (I think it was like 4 or 5 days since being fed).
