it looks almost like a burn, but I can't imagine where it came from. She's on a UTH with a florescent.

Has she/he been breeding? Breeding causes stress, stress causes more spotting. I;ve got a girl who developed black splotches (sp) on her tail. I cant really tell from the pictures if it is a spot, or if it is an open wound... but as of now, my best guess is a spot.

she has not been bred to my knowledge. She may be slightly stressed, but I have other females who are breeding and do have more spots. This one appears to be different, and might be causing her some discomfort. I will try to get a better picture for you. I think it looks like a burn blister.
