Going on holiday/vacation

i'm going to be away for about 8 or 9 days and would like to know if my green anole(anolis carolinensis) will be alright without food during this time.
If the answer is no, then would it be alright to leave a few extra insects, ie crickets in the terrarium? I'm guessing the answer to this question will be no too, because the crickets will need fed if not eaten straight away.
What do you all reckon?

Just a couple of ideas that have worked for me. Maybe you could feed it wax worms before you go. This would give it some fat to live off of for a while. Also, maybe put a crock in the bottom of the tank that a few crickets can't get out of. This will keep the crickets from roaming around or chewing on your Anole at night. Your Anole can get at them when it wants. Put in a flake or 2 of oatmeal and maybe a small piece of lettus. Don't forget some sort of water supply for your lizard as this is 'MOST' important.
