I've been trying to hone my photography skills for a while now, using different lighting techniques and the like. This is a pic of my sister and my 6' suriname (both of them are awesome!). Let me know what you think of the photo, and maybe if there are things I could have done to make it better.

IMHO, other than being an awesome awesome shot i kind of feel like your sisters hand on the back wall pulls attention away from the main focus of the picture which would be her face and the head of the snake. Also just as constructive critic i would say that the snake is a little to close to her face. She is truely beautiful and i feel the snake in the picture should be surrounding her face and that thsi picture isnt doing her the justice that you could. I would go for something a little closer in and a little more centered on you sister with the great colors of the snake as a assent, BUT this is just in my opinion and i want to let you know that either way i think its an awesome show and i would LOVE to see more of you work as i love to play around with black and white photos in my spare time.... Thanks for sharing your work...
