Yes,
most ground dwelling lizards want to find places to hide.
many like a hide that is just big enough to get into and no bigger, ie: back and sides able to be in contact with the inside of the hide.
my dragon will "Hide" her head and torso and yet leave the tail sticking out in plain view 
many will sleep in a hide almost every night.
my dragon will get in and turn around and face out ...
just sit there awake and watch the apartment and the humans.
not afraid, just likes the cover.
