I have seen pics many times on this forum but when I want to show someone what one looks like can't find a pic at all. Many thanks.

This is my original male pic from about 10 years ago. This male produced a lot of the "New England" line of babies in collections today.

I used to have pics of my Lemke strain but I lost them when my computer crashed. Maybe someone else can post a nice looking Lemke.

Just curious, what is the diffence in color between the New England line and Lemke line as far as axanthic brooks? Is the N.E. line more of a purplish black then the lemke? Anyway, very nice King, that snake is awesome.

Originally there was a difference between colors. The Lemke line was blue when born and turned into a drab color as an adult, while the NE line was born very drab (almost brownish) and turned into a light blue. The Lemke line has since been bred out and I have seen some exceptional axanthics from this line as well.

I would consider this an "original" Lemke animal. This male was produced by me in 1997. At the time, I think I was one of very few people producing Lemke axanthics. I don't consider this animal to be drab at all. Like I said, I've seen nice and drab from both lines. Do you have a recent pic of that axanthic?

I believe this to be a Lemke axanthic. '03 female, photo taken this spring.
