Hi everyone,

This is my first attempt to upload picture so I hope it works. Anyway, Lester, my four month Ambanja male took a somewhat weird poop today and I wanted to see if I should be concerned. It is hard to tell from the photo, but the dark part of the feces has small, bright yellow specs. It also is particularly foul smelling. He has been eating crix, silkworms, hand-caught moths, and some wax worms. He is very healthy, very active and all-around good, young guy.

Please let me know if this is anything to be concerned about.

Did he eat anything different or unusual in the last several days (or since the last normal poop)? A strong odor may be a sign of intestinal problems so if it occurs again take the fecal to a vet to check.

Thanks...the one from this morning seemed normal (I think...). It may have just been an abberation. But, I am going to keep a close an eye on it.
