i have a pothos but i put it on the other side of the cage (not directly under the heat lamp)the heat will kill it
one other thing make sure to water often

one more thing i use a piece of driftwood under the heat lamp

What about hibiscus?

mrcham Jul 17, 2004 10:53 PM

lol... im not sure on hibiscus
ask lele she's our resident plant expert

Hibiscus are safe to use and the chameleons seem to like to eat the flowers, mine sit by a bud for days waiting for it to open.
They seem to be hard to keep alive though. And they can attract more insects than pothos.

I don't like hibiscus, they seem to be 'white fly' magnets. Try pothos or ficus.

mrcham i cant put the plant on the other side of the cage because the it taller than it is longer and um what do you mean put a peice of driftwood under the lamp? like above the plant so it can have shade and like put some stick for my guy the bask on over the driftwood? dorry but that ost kinda confused me

mrcham Jul 19, 2004 02:44 PM

srry for the confusion
i was just saying use something under the basking light that wont be killed by the heat i.e. like driftwood
