While everyone else is trying to feed their new babies, I'd thought I'd share some PICS...

I know this is a corn forum but until everyone gets their hatchlings feeding, I thought I'd share some pics of these Eastern Fence Lizards. You might ask 'how is this related to corns?' Well, these guys are probably natural prey for corns in some remote pockets of undisturbed habitat in the wild. Anyway, I did some field herping to test out my new digital camera and could not find any snakes but they can't be too far behind such plentiful prey.lol

Who needs a Ground Hog to predict seasons when all you have to do is look for an Eastern Fence Lizard's shadow.lol.


Can you see this one? Look really hard in the shady underside of the rock and you may see the silhouette of it. Must be cooler.
