In what states are you not allowed to own alligators?
Louisiana does not permit the private or non-commercial ownership of Alligators. You must have a LA state department of agriculture farmer or rancher alligator license to possess them. More than 50,000 are harvested annually in the state. Go to our website at www.lgchs.org for other Louisiana reptile regulations. ~Bill~
